So- the Health Coaching School I go to- Integrative Nutrition- it’s primary color is red. I don’t own anything red- but many many of my 3,500 fellow health coaches do! Two weekends ago, we swarmed the Jacob Javits Conference Center in a sea of red clothing and happy healthy smiles! It was so exciting!
I was so blessed by two friends of mine who were able to help me figure out and manage how to get to the conference and I hopped on a plane and headed to NYC for an amazing weekend of learning and networking! WOW! I knew this was big- I knew that with health care in America the way it is that Health Coaching is “the thing” of the future… but I had no idea how many people were already chasing their passions and helping people live healthier lives! YAY US! YAY YOU!
At this conference I was blessed to hear some amazing speakers. Medical Drs, activists, former students, policy changers, successful business people… all of it getting me more and more excited about this business and where it is going to take me! One of the great things about this field- Nutrition and Wellness- is that there is a never ending supply of things to learn and this weekend gave me so much to think about and get excited about!
It gave me a chance to eat some REAL NYC pizza too! (Don't worry I had a nice green salad too!)
I just wanted to give you guys a little info on who I am learning from and let you know how much fun I had learning it! You can see- this list is a Who’s Who in the Nutrition and Wellness world! An A List! On top of the fact that I got to hang out for the weekend with great amazing women who are going to change lives AND be close to home in NYC!
