OK for those of you who know me from “home” who read my blog to keep up with me and my fabulous new life… you might need to sit down for this one…
Today I was going through recipes on-line so I could decide what I was going to cook for dinner this week so I could get everything when I went grocery shopping today…. (NO this is actually not the part where you faint- though me cooking and planning is almost faint worthy…. I KNOW!)
These recipes had all kinds of ingredients- of course- but also included the following:
- Cooking Sherry
- Toasted Sesame Seed oil
- Sesame Seeds
- Hot Chili Paste
- Rice Vinegar
- Tofu, Silken Firm
- Leeks, and
- Fresh ground ginger
OK here is where you sit down….
I did not need to go shopping for any of those ingredients- because I already have them all in the house!!! Oh yeah! I am a cooking queen now!

This week’s menu includes:
*Miso Soup *Soba Noodles with Mandarin, Jimaca and Pineapple, Toasted Sesame Seeds and Salmon w/Asparagus *Chicken Tortilla Soup *Flank Steak on Salad Greens *Kielbasa with Tomato Basil Spaghetti Noodles, Olive Oil and Cheese.
